Mothers on the Margins

Our new Mothers on the Margins campaign calls for action to stop indigenous women dying or suffering unnecessarily in pregnancy and childbirth.

Abolition of user fees in Sierra Leone - update

On 27 April, Sierra Leone’s Independence Day, health user fees were abolished for pregnant women, new mothers and children under 5 years old. How effective has this been?
