Health Poverty Action is teaching ethnic communities in remote areas of Laos how to limit the spread of malaria by spreading key health messages among villagers through printed materials and community health education activities.

Working in 30 remote villages of Attapeu, Health Poverty Action improves the health of some 50,000 people, including more than 9,000 women.
Many women in vulnerable communities in Laos are reluctant to use reproductive health services. This project aims to remove the critical barriers that prevent vulnerable communities accessing available services for sexual health, family planning, pregnancy and childbirth.
